I am currently teaching an Advanced Workshop in the Novel in the Mount Mary College graduate program in professional writing.

I also encourage other writers and editors to explore on this website, since the materials are intended to speak to beginners as well as advanced writers. In philosophy, my approach to novel writing encourages all artists to tap into the deep well of the subconscious in order to create their most vivid and original work.

In addition, students then become motivated to shape these mysterious (and often wonderfully associative) beginnings into a very well-structured and highly crafted result.
